What sets Grounded Flow Yoga 200hr YTT apart is the depth of study and application.
Asana: training will be informed by Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Ashtanga disciplines promoting safe, expansive movement supported by the body’s natural structures and Yoga’s inherent on alignment, flow and sequencing.
Pranayama: learn and practice techniques that compliment asana and meditation practice and that live as stand alone tools to calm, invigorate, restore and balance
Meditation: deepen your own meditation practice- working with dynamic and still meditation- while exploring and softening the barriers our students will come across in meditation
Yoga and teaching philosophy: discover the ancient teachings that underpin our Yoga practice and how they can integrate with our modern lives. Exploring the privilege and responsibility of the teacher’s seat and finding your voice.
Restorative Yoga: a deep dive into the nervous system and how best to promote relaxation and the conditions for healing within ourselves and our students
Yoga Nidra: meaning in Sanskrit "sleep" is a thousand-year-old meditation and relaxation technique considered a fundamental, natural process for rejuvenating the body and mind. In this training, you’ll explore the guiding principles and foundational techniques of Yoga Nidra, expanding your understanding and deepening your personal and teaching practice.
Through all of the above we will work with props and hands on real life experience in class to familiarise and empower you with the language and practice of teaching.
Learning Outcomes:
Successful completion of the final practicum and all additional evaluations demonstrates your readiness to graduate as a 200-hour Yoga Alliance–certified teacher.
